Retail Sales Associate

Mattress Warehouse is currently seeking highly motivated and successful retail sales associates, and retail store managers to assist us in our continuing quest to provide exceptional service to our customers. With over 300 store locations and growing, we have been a leader in the Mattress industry for 30 years and are looking for you to come join us!

Key Responsibilities:

• Create an environment where the customer is always at the center by cultivating strong relationships

• Provide technical and product knowledge information to customers, serve as subject matter expert

• Drive individual sales performance and KPI’s while demonstrating Company values and supporting Company initiatives

• Execute Company merchandising and marketing programs to standard

• Maintain awareness of competitor's advertisements and services offered

• Continue to develop skills, competencies, product knowledge through assigned course work, training and other company led activities.

• Assist the management team to ensure the store is properly merchandised and the correct sale is displayed in store

• Follow opening and closing procedures

• Assist in processing inventory counts

• Execute company initiatives and any other activities requested by supervisor

• Follow Company policy, execute Company standards on appearance and functionality, and ensure safety regulations are followed

Qualifications:

• Minimum one year of sales experience

• High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree a plus

• 18 years of age or older

• Customer service or commission-based sales experience a plus

• Microsoft Office including Excel product knowledge

• Familiarity with computers and ability to use POS systems

• Motivated by a pay for performance compensation plan

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Sales: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Purcellville, VA 20132: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
